STUDENT FEEDBACK FROM FALL 2018 – MAKECOURSE

COMPLETE STUDENT FEEDBACK FROM EGN 3343 FOR MY THEMED THERMODYNAMICS CLASS.

Course Comment:

Great class! I made an autonomous drone and learned more in three months than I did in four years. All students should be required to take this course. I almost didn’t, but then saw Dr. Celestin was teaching it and signed up immediately. He was my advisor for my senior design and I knew he would be available to help me with any out of class issues I could have in make course.

This class was amazing, and I am very glad to have taken it, but I would have appreciated knowing in advance just how much C++ students will use. I would have read up on it or taken a class on it before this, but the TA’s and professor were all amazing and really went above and beyond to help me learn in conjunction with completing assignments. I am recommending this class to my peers as a good tech elective to take prior to doing our capstone.

Interesting class, very important and fun for engineering students to get practice creating physical projects

Instructor Comment:

Dr. Celestin is by far one of the best, most passionate professors I have had at USF. I graduate this semester but wish I didn’t so I could take more courses he thought. Thank you for a great semester and inspiring myself and the class to make the best projects we could make.

Dr. Celestin is great with students, has a great mind (both for creativity and deep knowledge and understanding of all things cool), is always available and approachable, and has an all around great attitude.

Great Professor, very supportive and creative
